We are pleased to offer for holiday rental our modern, fully furnished, three bedroom bungalow. The gite is situated inside a conservation area on the edge of a stunning 18 hole golf course, directly overlooking the beautiful lake: "Lac de la Dathee" in Normandy, France. The property has its own private entrance with plenty of off-road parking and a large garden. We are ideally situated for golfing enthusiasts or anybody who wants a scenic, peaceful location as a base for exploring Normandy.
The nearby town of Vire has plenty of shops, cafes, bars, and a wide choice of restaurants. On Friday there is a local market where you can sample the tasty French cheese's and freshly caught fish. The area is ideal for all types of holidays including horse riding, wind surfing and fishing. The more adventurous may like to try off-roading at the local 4x4 centre using your own vehicle (if suitable) or their Land Rovers and Range Rovers. Maybe you would prefer to cycle or enjoy long walks through the beautiful Normandy countryside, and afterwards just relax in the garden with a glass of wine or our local cider.
Within one or two kilometres of the gite is a restaurant "Le Butte aux Cerfs" and our local bar at St Manvieu Bocage. |
